At our location in Aachen, we offer comprehensive solutions to assess and certify your company and products in terms of sustainability and social dimensions.
Our certifications include both corporate and product seals. With our corporate seal, we assess your company in terms of its sustainability practices and social impact.
This rating has an impact not only on the perception of end consumers, but also on potential insurance applicants. By being certified by us as a sustainable company (by obtaining a CSR label), you have the opportunity to have your products certified by us as well.

Our product certifications are based on two different assessment standards. The first label, "sustainably designed insurance product", allows clients to choose between different funds and investment options, some of which may be considered unsustainable. Only by selecting funds that we qualify as sustainable can the product be considered sustainable.
The second label, "sustainable insurance product", offers customers only funds and investment options that have been qualified as sustainable by us following Articles 8 and 9 of the Disclosure Regulation. For both assessment standards, we distinguish between three categories: Gold, Silver and Bronze. The assessment is influenced, among other things, by how quickly the hedging assets are adjusted to the EU taxonomy, taking governance aspects into account, and how quickly harmful assets, which may only make up an insignificant part of the assets, are divested.

Gegenstand der Bestätigung nach ISO 32212
Unsere Dienstleistung richtet sich an Banken, Versicherer und andere Finanzinstitute, die ihre Übergangsstrategie zu einer klimaneutralen, resilienten Wirtschaft strukturiert nach ISO 32212 ausrichten wollen. Die Norm definiert einen umfassenden Rahmen für glaubwürdige Net-Zero-Transition-Pläne: von Emissionsinventuren über Szenarioanalysen bis hin zu konkreten Pfaden, Zielen und Governance-Strukturen. Wir prüfen, ob Ihr Institut die wesentlichen ISO-Anforderungen an Risikoanalyse, Zielsetzung, Implementierung und Überwachung der Transitionprozesse erfüllt und angemessen dokumentiert.
Kerninhalte unserer Prüfung
- Emissionsinventur: Bewertung, ob Sie vollständige und methodisch belastbare Inventuren für direkte Emissionen (Scope 1), energieindirekte Emissionen (Scope 2) sowie relevante indirekte Emissionen (Scope 3 – insbesondere finanzierte und facilitierte Emissionen) erstellen und fortschreiben.
- Szenarioanalyse und Risikobeurteilung: Prüfung Ihrer klima-bezogenen Szenarioanalysen, einschließlich Übergangs- und physischen Risiken, Stranded-Asset-Risiken und Anpassungsoptionen.
- Transition-Pfad und Ziele: Beurteilung, ob Ihr institutsspezifischer Pfad auf nationalen Leitlinien, Sektorpfaden und Technologieroadmaps basiert und mit quantifizierten, zeitgebundenen Zielen unterlegt ist.
- Integration in Geschäftsmodell: Analyse der Verankerung der Transitionplanung in Risikomanagement, Kredit- und Anlageentscheidungen, Zeichnungspraxis sowie in Ihre Engagement-Strategie gegenüber Kunden und Stakeholdern.
- Monitoring, Kommunikation und Review: Prüfung interner und externer Kommunikation, interner Assurance-Programme und Management-Reviews zur fortlaufenden Verbesserung Ihrer Net-Zero-Strategie.
Governance und Umsetzung nach ISO 32212
ISO 32212 verlangt, dass Vorstand und oberstes Management klar Verantwortung für die Wirksamkeit der Transitionplanung übernehmen und diese mit der Geschäftsstrategie verzahnen. Unsere Bestätigung bewertet die Verknüpfung von Vergütungssystemen mit Übergangszielen, den Kompetenzaufbau im Haus sowie Ihre Prozesse zur Dokumentations- und Datenqualitätssteuerung. Dabei achten wir auf langfristige, realwirtschaftliche Wirkung (Impact), konsistente Anreize und Pläne zur sukzessiven Verringerung unsicherer Schätzwerte und Proxies.
Einordnung in EmpCo-Kontext und weitere Standards
Die Prüfung nach ISO 32212 ergänzt unseren Ansatz zur EmpCo-konformen Zertifizierung von Finanzprodukten und Institutionen, indem sie die Qualität und Glaubwürdigkeit Ihrer Net-Zero-Transitionpläne belegt.
